“I’ve seen 5 acupuncturists over the last few years, and Lindsey is by far the best and most effective for me. I’ve been seeing her for acupuncture since late 2016 for unexplained infertility. After years of TTC without success, we conceived our first child after only 3 months of weekly acupuncture treatment with Lindsey. While the treatment itself was undoubtedly helpful, her bedside manner was truly what kept me going, as I was skeptical anything could help me at the time, until finally, something did! Lindsey treated me throughout my pregnancy and kept my nerves low and humor high! I delivered a healthy baby girl a couple of days after my due date. When we decided to try for a second baby, I knew I wanted to go back to Lindsey. While the visits to her were just as emotionally fruitful as ever, months passed with no success. I became a bit hopeless once again, unsure which way to go—I still never had received a diagnosis for my infertility and standard OB and RE care had repeatedly failed me in this regard; I felt I was at a dead end. Lindsey respectfully, as always, suggested a different type of OB she had learned about over the course of treating patients like me. Based on what she knew about me, she thought it may be a good fit. I waited to go down that route for several more months, as I was just too overwhelmed, felt burnt out, and skeptical since every doctor had failed me up to that point. Finally, over a year into TTC again, I went to see that doctor. Let’s just say, she was right—it was indeed a good fit! The doctor listened to me, found, and cured my infertility in May 2020. We immediately conceived after that. I couldn’t believe it! If not for her, I’d never have gone that route.
Unfortunately we experienced a missed miscarriage, and lost that pregnancy at 11 weeks. Once again, Lindsey was the best support and sounding board for me. We emailed about the ordeal and even with limited hours due to the pandemic, she made the extra effort to extend her schedule so that she could treat me through the rollercoaster of the month long miscarriage. I definitely felt uplifted and more whole after those appointments, as well as physically stronger after such a complicated and lengthy miscarriage.
I continued to see her weekly, and when my husband and I were ready to try again, incredibly, we conceived right away. That first trimester was rough—Lindsey got me through the most physically demanding, nerve wracking and emotionally confusing weeks of my life! I’m now halfway through my pregnancy, and can’t believe I’ve come out the other side from such a difficult time.
Lindsey is a gifted practitioner who has keen skills for perceiving a patient’s needs and a strong sense of how best to support them. She is a genuine, compassionate person, with a great sense of humor, that immediate puts the patient at ease. Not once have I ever felt her treatment plan to be anything but synergetic with what suits my objectives. Appointments with her feel collaborative, like she’s invested in your journey, and will only do or suggest next steps and alternative treatment options based on what she intuitively senses are compatible with you. She’s the best listener, has a calming, down to earth presence, and without her, I genuinely don’t think I’d be a mom at all, let alone, expecting my second baby. If you’re going through a health or emotional ordeal of any kind, she’s definitely someone you want in your corner.
